Michaela Dolan
Music Therapist
Michaela is a HCPC registered Music Therapist with a broad range of experience working with both children and adults in a variety of settings. She offers individual and group music therapy sessions designed to support emotional, psychological, developmental, and communication needs.
Drawing on a person-centred, psychodynamic approach, Michaela tailors each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. She works with people experiencing a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional distress, as well as those with learning disabilities, autism, neurodivergence, communication difficulties, and other additional needs.
Music therapy is an inclusive and creative form of support that does not rely on verbal communication. It can be especially helpful for individuals who find it difficult to express themselves with words, providing a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions, and identity through sound and musical interaction.
Michaela is passionate about making music therapy accessible to all, recognising its ability to support wellbeing, self-expression, connection, and personal growth across the age range.
